  • Please note that all tours must be booked in advance. For organisation and scheduling purposes we cannot accept walk up bookings on our tours.

  • My preferred date for the tour is not available - what should I do?

  • All of your guests must be included in the same booking. Please do not make separate bookings. This tour is very popular and often will have multiple groups. All bookings are allocated to a guide in advance of your arrival. If you make separate bookings for your group then it is highly likely that your group will be split up with different tour guides and will not be doing the tour together.

  • No. This tour does not include entrance tickets and will not enter any sights, landmarks or attractions. If you wish to enter any sights, landmarks or attractions after the tour then please let your tour guide know and they will be able to assist you with tickets.

  • Unfortunately this tour is not suitable for guests with walking or mobility difficulties. The tour is also not suitable for wheelchairs.

  • No. This Changing of the Guard tour will not go to the front gates of Buckingham Palace. Most of the ceremony is away from the front gates. If you do wish to go to the front gates of Buckingham Palace then do not book this tour.

  • If it is raining or bad weather then the Changing of the Guard ceremony may be a ‘Wet Change’. This is a shortened version of the ceremony without music. This is decided by the British Army at approximately 10.30am on the day of the ceremony.

  • The Changing of the Guard ceremony begins before 11am as the Royal Guards march to Buckingham Palace. Your Changing of the Guard walking tour will starts earlier so you be in the right position and with front row views!

  • The Changing of the Guard schedule is usually confirmed by the British Army approximately 4 weeks in advance.

  • Please note that the photo with the Royal Horseguards is subject to Guard availability and the decision is made by the British Army.

  • If you are a group or travelling party of 9 or more people please contact us before making a booking.

  • Bookings can be cancelled for a full refund until 24 hours before the tour start time. Bookings that are cancelled within 24 hours of the tour start time cannot be refunded. Please refer to our terms and conditions.
