TERMS & CONDITIONS
See The Sights Tours Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “See The Sights Tours”) provides sightseeing tours and travel services in the tourism industry. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “Terms”) apply to any individual or entity (hereinafter “Customer”) who purchases or participates in any product or service provided by See The Sights Tours. By proceeding with any booking, purchase, or participation, the Customer acknowledges, understands, agrees to, accepts, authorises and consents to be legally bound by these Terms in full and in their entirety.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement and are applicable to all Customers, regardless of nationality, age, gender, sexual orientation, language, ethnicity, citizenship, traditions, religious beliefs, personal or professional beliefs, or any other demographic characteristic. They apply uniformly to all See The Sights Tours products and services, irrespective of the means or methods through which they are purchased, including direct bookings with See The Sights Tours or purchases made through third-party suppliers, agents, resellers, or any intermediaries.
It is the sole and explicit responsibility of each Customer, or the parent or legal guardian for any Customers under the age of 18, to read, understand, agree to, accept, and adhere to these Terms prior to purchasing or participating in any product or service, in addition to the See The Sights Tours Privacy Policy which can be found at https://www.seethesightstours.com/privacy-policy. It is the sole and explicit responsibility of the Customer purchasing the product or service to provide a copy of these Terms, and the Privacy Policy, to each person participating and/or included in their purchase booking.
Any Customer who, for any reason, does not fully understand, agree to, accept, authorise, or abide by any provision within these Terms, or within the See The Sights Tours Privacy Policy, is advised not to proceed with the purchase of, or participation in, any product or service provided by See The Sights Tours. Any failure to abide by these Terms or the Privacy Policy may result in immediate termination of the product or service, without refund, and may be grounds for further legal action taken by See The Sights Tours.
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Each Customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Great Britain and Northern Ireland with respect to any matters related to these Terms.
Pricing and Currency: Unless stated otherwise on the product or service page, all pricing listed on the See The Sights Tours website are in Great British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes.
Third-Party Pricing and Currency: See The Sights Tours products or services may be advertised on third-party platforms in different currencies and different prices.
Customer Responsibility for Fees: When booking any See The Sights Tours product or service, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for any and all associated fees, including but not limited to booking, transaction, and service fees which are non-refundable, non-remunerable, and non-compensable under any circumstances by See The Sights Tours.
Customer Payment Information: The Customer confirms that by providing any credit or debit card information to See The Sights Tours, that the card is legally owned by the Customer and the Customer has full and unrestricted authorisation to use that card. The Customer also confirms that all card details, including the card number, expiry date, CVC number and name on the card, are wholly accurate in their entirety. Providing false card information, or using a card without full and unrestricted authorisation, may result in cancellation of bookings.
Travel Expenses: Any and all costs related to the Customer's travel to and from the See The Sights Tours product or service are the sole responsibility of the Customer and will not be refunded, remunerated, or compensated by See The Sights Tours under any circumstances.
Ticket Validity: All tickets purchased for See The Sights Tours products or services are valid only for the date and time specified on the ticket.
Ticket Classification by Age: Where applicable, "Adult" tickets must be purchased by individuals aged 18 years or older. "Children" tickets are available for individuals aged 5-17 years inclusive. Children under the age of 5 may attend complimentary and at no charge. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the product or service.
Request for Identification: See The Sights Tours reserves the right to request valid identification or proof of age from any customer at any time and for any reason. Where identification is required for a child this must be provided the parent or guardian of the child. Acceptable proof of identification includes any government issued identification.
Ticket Limitations and Group Policy: See The Sights Tours reserves the right to limit the number of tickets available for each product, service, booking, group or travelling party. The maximum number of tickets allowed per booking, group or travelling party is eight (8). A "travelling party" is defined as a group of individuals who are knowingly acquainted in any way prior to booking the product or service. Attempts to circumvent this by making multiple bookings, either using the same personal details or different personal details, will result in all applicable bookings being invalid and/or cancelled in line with the See The Sights Tours cancellation policy.
No Show: If a Customer fails to attend a product or service for which they have a valid booking, and does not cancel the booking within the stated cancellation period, they will be deemed a "No Show" by See The Sights Tours. In all circumstances these bookings will be considered non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Go City Pass/London Pass Bookings: If a Customer purchases a See The Sights Tours product or service using the Go City Pass/London Pass option, they agree that their Pass(es) will be valid for that product or service on the date and time booked, and the Pass(es) will be presented for validation before the product or service commences. Should a Customer present an invalid Pass, not attend the product or service (i.e. is a “No Show”), or cancel their booking within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time, then the Customer irrevocably understands, agrees and authorises that a non-refundable fee of £20.00 per person will be charged to the Customers credit/debit card for each person in the booking. This charge will be made for the full amount owed within 30 days of the date and time of the product or service concluding to the credit/debit card details provided on file by the Customer at the time of booking. This charge is broken down as: Product/Service price (GBP £14.00) plus Reservation Booking Fee (GBP £1.00) plus Administration Fee (GBP £5.00).
Third-Party Payment Claims: See The Sights Tours retains the right to claim full payment from any third party on behalf of the Customer for any booking, regardless of whether the Customer attended the product or service.
Discount Codes for Eligible Customers: Use of discount codes exclusive to third parties are only valid to be used by eligible Customers of the third party. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence, as determined solely by See The Sights Tours, of being an eligible Customer of the third party will result in the subsequent booking/s being cancelled in line with the See The Sights Tours cancellation policy.
Amendments to Bookings: Customers wishing to amend their booking must submit a written request to See The Sights Tours at least 24 hours before the original departure date and time. Bookings cannot be amended within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time. All amendment requests must be made via email to tours@seethesightstours.com and include the original booking confirmation number. See The Sights Tours is under no obligation to accept or approve amendments to bookings. Amendments are only considered as approved upon receipt of written confirmation from See The Sights Tours.
Cancellation Policy & Refunds: All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing via email to tours@seethesightstours.com and include the booking confirmation number. All cancellations and refunds are made in line with the full See The Sights Tours cancellation policy which can be found at https://www.seethesightstours.com/cancellation-policy.
Cancellation by See The Sights Tours: See The Sights Tours retains the exclusive and unrestricted right to cancel any booking, product, or service at any time and for any reason, with no obligation to provide advance notice to any Customers.
Minimum Number of Bookings or Guests: See The Sights Tours retains the exclusive and unrestricted right to establish a minimum number of bookings or guests requirement for any product or service in order for the product or service to proceed. In the event that the specified minimum requirement is not met by the designated cut-off time, See The Sights Tours reserves the right to cancel the product or service for the affected date and/or time. The cut-off time for each product or service will be determined solely at the discretion of See The Sights Tours on a case-by-case basis.
Customer Options in the Event of a Cancellation by See The Sights Tours: If See The Sights Tours cancels a product or service for which a Customer has made a purchase, See The Sights Tours may, at its sole discretion, (i) contact the Customer directly, or through their booking agent, to offer a rescheduled date and/or time; or; (ii) provide a 100% refund to the Customer using the same payment method and payment details originally used for the purchase.
No Additional Compensation for Cancellations: Should See The Sights Tours cancel a product or service for any reason, then no additional compensation, remuneration, or damages beyond those specified in the cancellation policy will be owed or payable to any Customer or under any circumstances.
Accuracy of Information: See The Sights Tours endeavours to ensure that all information provided in connection with its products and services is accurate and reliable to the best of its knowledge. However, See The Sights Tours disclaims any liability for the accuracy of information conveyed during its tours, products, or services and will not be held responsible for any errors or inaccuracies therein.
Right to Modify Itineraries: See The Sights Tours reserves the exclusive and unrestricted right to alter, adapt, or amend, any part of the itinerary for any product or service at any time and for any reason, with no obligation to provide advance notice to Customers.
Voluntary Consumption of Food and Drink: By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service where food or drink is made available for consumption, each Customer understands, acknowledges, agrees, and accepts that the consumption of any food and/or drink is entirely voluntary and undertaken at the Customer’s sole discretion. The Customer assumes full responsibility for evaluating the personal suitability, safety, and appropriateness of any food or drink consumed during the product or service.
Responsibility for Dietary Requirements: It is the sole responsibility of each Customer to ensure, to their complete and entire satisfaction, that any food or drink consumed by the Customer while participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, is suitable for their consumption, taking into consideration any personal allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions, or preferences. For participants under 18 years of age, this responsibility rests solely with their parent or guardian.
Limitation of Liability for Adverse Reactions: By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer expressly acknowledges, agrees, and accepts that See The Sights Tours, including any of its contracted staff, employees, associates, contractors, tour guides, or partners, shall bear no liability whatsoever for any adverse reactions, health consequences, or other outcomes related to the consumption of any food and/or drink. This includes, but is not limited to, any injury, illness, disability, or death.
Waiver of Claims for Health-Related Costs: By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service where food or drink may be consumed, each Customer understands, agrees, acknowledges, and accepts, that neither they nor any other party (including, but not limited to, family, friends, companies, businesses, acquaintances, organisations, or groups) shall seek any form of compensation, damages, or reimbursement from See The Sights Tours, its staff, employees, contractors, associates, tour guides, or partners, for any medical, health-related, or other related expenses incurred as a result of the consumption of any food or drink during the product or service.
Accompaniment of Animals: Only registered assistance animals, as recognised by a government or federal agency, are permitted on See The Sights Tours products or services. Animals that are not registered with an official government or federal agency will not be allowed on any See The Sights Tours products or services. See The Sights Tours reserves the right to request documentation verifying the registration of any animal prior to the Customer’s participation in the product or service. If the Customer fails to provide such documentation, to the sole satisfaction of See The Sights Tours, the animal will not be permitted to join the product or service. In the event that the Customer is unable to proceed with their booking as a result then no refund will be provided.
Acceptance of Third-Party Property Terms: For any See The Sights Tours product or service involving entry to third-party locations, venues, buildings, sites, or organisations, each Customer understands, acknowledges, and accepts, that the third-party operates as an independent business from See The Sights Tours. By entering any third-party property, the Customer agrees to comply with all applicable terms, conditions, privacy policies, legal and governmental requirements, as well as any specific fees, taxes, rules, or regulations of each third-party location. Customers may request further information by contacting See The Sights Tours in advance of purchasing or participating in the product or service via email at tours@seethesightstours.com.
Prohibition on Alcohol Consumption: The consumption of any alcohol on any See The Sights Tours product or service is strictly prohibited unless explicitly offered as part of the advertised experience (e.g., beer or wine tasting).
Prohibition on Violence and Drug Use: The use of any form of violence or any illegal drugs is strictly prohibited on all See The Sights Tours products and services.
Right of Removal: See The Sights Tours reserves the unrestricted right to remove any individual(s) from any of its products or services at any time and for any reason. Customers removed from any product or service will not be eligible for any refund, remuneration, expense reimbursement, damages, or compensation of any kind.
Customer Responsibility for Legal Conduct: Each Customer is solely responsible for ensuring that their behaviour throughout the duration of the product or service complies with all applicable laws. Should a Customer be deemed responsible for any illegal activity, See The Sights Tours reserves the right to remove the Customer from the product or service and notify relevant law enforcement or emergency services.
Liability for Third-Party Behaviour: See The Sights Tours, including its contracted staff, employees, associates, tour guides, contractors, and partners, shall not be held responsible or liable in any manner for the actions or behaviour of other Customers, or any members of the public, during the course of any product or service. By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer expressly grants See The Sights Tours and its contracted staff, employees, associates, tour guides, contractors, and partners, full immunity from any responsibility, liability, claims, damages, costs, fees, expenses, fines, or compensation, arising from witnessing or being impacted by any inappropriate, unlawful, or disruptive behaviour of any other individual.
Compliance with Transportation Safety Laws: Where any See The Sights Tours product or service includes transportation by any type of vehicle, each Customer agrees to abide by all safety requirements under the laws of the United Kingdom and the specific vehicle’s safety regulations including, but not limited to, the mandatory use of seatbelts. Customers may request further information by contacting See The Sights Tours in advance of purchasing or participating in the product or service via email at tours@seethesightstours.com.
Third-Party Transportation Ownership: Customers acknowledge that any transportation provided as part of a See The Sights Tours product or service may be owned and/or operated and/or provided by any third party. In such cases, all rules, regulations, terms, conditions, and privacy policies of the third-party apply. Customers may request further information by contacting See The Sights Tours in advance of purchasing or participating in the product or service via email at tours@seethesightstours.com.
Use of Valid Transportation Card and Identification: Where public transportation is utilised for any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer agrees to possess and use a valid transportation card, and legal form of identification, as required by law, regulations, and the transportation provider’s terms, conditions, and policies. It is solely the Customer’s responsibility to verify the validity and legality of their transportation card and identification. Customers may request further information by contacting See The Sights Tours in advance of purchasing or participating in the product or service via email at tours@seethesightstours.com.
Acceptance of Liability for Invalid Transportation Use: Should a Customer be found using an illegal or invalid transportation card or identification, the Customer accepts full responsibility for any legal or financial consequences imposed by any law enforcement, government authorities, or third-party transportation providers. The Customer grants See The Sights Tours and its contracted staff, employees, associates, tour guides, contractors, and partners full immunity from all forms of prosecution, liability, fees, expenses, costs, compensation, or fines incurred.
Insurance Requirement: By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer expressly warrants and confirms that they hold comprehensive and suitable travel, medical, health, and property insurance with adequate coverage for any and all potential incidents, scenerios, situations, events or damages. This insurance must encompass all risks, including but not limited to loss, theft, damage, inconvenience, injury, illness, or death, of any kind, affecting either person or property, arising before, during, or after participation in any See The Sights Tours product or service, regardless of cause, reason, fault or negligence.
No Obligation to Verify Insurance: See The Sights Tours holds no responsibility to verify the existence or sufficiency of any insurance coverage held by any Customer at any time.
Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability: By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer understands, acknowledges, and accepts that they are doing so voluntarily and at their own risk. See The Sights Tours, including all contracted staff, employees, associates, tour guides, contractors, or partners, shall bear no liability for any damages, losses, theft, inconvenience, injury, or death of any kind, whether to persons, animals, or property, that may occur before, during, or after the purchase of, or participation in, any product or service provided by See The Sights Tours, regardless of the cause, reason, fault or negligence. Additionally, each Customer irrevocably grants See The Sights Tours and all of its contracted staff, employees, associates, tour guides, contractors, or partners, full immunity from any and all forms of legal, financial, civil, or criminal liability or prosecution arising out of such incidents.
Waiver of Claims Against See The Sights Tours: By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer, on behalf of themselves and any associates (including but not limited to family members, friends, acquaintances, companies, businesses, organizations, or any group to which they belong), agrees and accepts in full and in its entirety, not to seek any form of compensation, damages, or reimbursement from See The Sights Tours, its contractors, employees, associates, tour guides, or partners for any expenses, damages, or costs arising from any travel, health, medical needs, or property issues, regardless of the circumstances, cause, reason, fault or negligence. This waiver expressly includes any claims related to, or arising from, any insurance coverage the Customer may have.
No Coverage Under See The Sights Tours Insurance: By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer confirms that they understand, acknowledge, and accept, that they are not covered or protected, nor are they entitled to any coverage or protection, under any insurance policies held by See The Sights Tours, its staff, its contractors, employees, associates, tour guides, or partners.
Affiliations and Marketing of Partner Services: See The Sights Tours may engage in partnerships with third-party affiliates, whether disclosed or undisclosed, and may market these partners’ products or services through various channels in exchange for compensation, commissions, or other financial or non-financial benefits.
Acceptance of Third-Party Terms: By purchasing any third-party product or service marketed through See The Sights Tours, each Customer confirms their understanding and acceptance of all terms, conditions, privacy policies, and all other policies, of the third-party provider. The customer waives any rights to pursue legal, civil, or criminal action against See The Sights Tours, its staff, contractors, employees, associates, tour guides, or partners, in connection with the third-party product or service for any reason.
Consent to Record, Utilisation and Distribution of Customer Likeness and Information: By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer grants See The Sights Tours, as well as any associated third parties, a full, perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, transferable, and worldwide permission and licence to record, use and distribute the customer’s name, image, likeness, age, nationality, voice, and any other identifiable information for any marketing, advertising, promotional or business purposes including those in the public domain.
Waiver of Payment for Use of Likeness: Each Customer understands, agrees, and accepts, that See The Sights Tours or any associated third parties, will not pay any fees, royalties, compensation, or remuneration for the use of the Customer’s likeness or any other identifiable information. Each Customer further acknowledges, understands, and accepts, that they are not entitled to, and will not claim, any portion of any income or revenue generated by See The Sights Tours as a result of the use of the Customers likeness and information.
Transfer of Ownership for Submitted Media: Any media or material submitted by a Customer directly to See The Sights Tours, or posted by a Customer to any online account associated with See The Sights Tours on third-party websites, automatically becomes the property of See The Sights Tours. The Customer thereby grants See The Sights Tours an exclusive, perpetual, unrestricted license to use, modify, and distribute this media and material in any manner, with no requirement to seek further permission, or to provide any payment, compensation, or remuneration, to the customer in any way.
Provision of Customer Email for Reviews: By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer consents to their email address being provided to third-party partners solely for the purpose of soliciting reviews of See The Sights Tours products and services. Customers who wish to opt out of this may do so by contacting See The Sights Tours by email to tours@seethesightstours.com before the commencement of their product or service.
Inclusion in Mailing & Subscriber List: By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer consents to the inclusion of their email address on the See The Sights Tours mailing and subscriber lists for promotional purposes. Customers can request removal from the mailing list or subscriber list at any time by contacting See The Sights Tours via email to tours@seethesightstours.com, or by using the “unsubscribe” option, if one is available in any received communication. This provision supplements the See The Sights Tours Privacy Policy.
"Free Walking Tour" or “Free Tour” Definition: When a See The Sights Tours product or service is marketed as a “free tour” or "free walking tour," it is offered on a "pay-what-you-like" basis, where any payment, gratuity, or tip are voluntary. Should a Customer choose not to provide any form of payment, the tour will remain financially free of charge.
Distribution of Guide Earnings: Each Customer acknowledges that any payments, gratuities, or tips, given to tour guides may be subject to distribution agreements, and the tour guide may be required to remit a portion of these earnings to See The Sights Tours in accordance with their own contractual arrangement.
Independent Contractor Status of Guides: Customers understand and accept that any individual involved in the leading of a product or service by See The Sights Tours, may operate as an independent contractor, freelance professional, or other non-employee role, and may not be directly employed by See The Sights Tours. As such, each individual is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and any other applicable expenses, fees or costs. Customer’s also further understand, acknowledge, and accept, that any opinions or views expressed by individuals are personal and do not necessarily represent those of See The Sights Tours.
Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure: By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer agrees not to disclose, publish, or communicate, any details of their experience with See The Sights Tours, including but not limited to, information regarding its products, services, employees, staff, tour guides, contractors, partners, or related experiences, to any media or third-party outlets (including, but not limited to, television, radio, newspapers, social media, blogs, podcasts, magazines, or any other platform) without obtaining prior written consent from the Director of See The Sights Tours. Additionally, Customers agree not to create or distribute any written or recorded materials—such as diaries, memoirs, letters, stories, photographs, interviews, articles, essays, accounts, descriptions, or depictions (whether fictionalised or not)—relating to their experience with See The Sights Tours without prior written consent from the Director. Any consent granted by any other individual aside from the Director of See The Sights Tours shall be deemed invalid. Requests for written consent should be made via email at tours@seethesightstours.com and addressed to the Business Director. This provision does not apply to genuine customer reviews or feedback posted on official See The Sights Tours social media pages, or authorised review platforms with See The Sights Tours official accounts (e.g. Tripadvisor).
Right to Modify Terms and Conditions: See The Sights Tours reserves the absolute right to amend, modify, add, or remove, any provisions within its Terms and Conditions, as well as its Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy, at any time and for any reason, without obligation to notify any Customer prior to, or after, such changes. By purchasing or participating in any See The Sights Tours product or service, each Customer expressly understands, agrees and acknowledges that these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy, may be revised after a purchase is made. Customers bear the sole responsibility to review and ensure familiarity with the latest Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy prior to their participation in the product or service. For the avoidance of doubt, the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cancellation Policy, as posted on the See The Sights Tours website shall supersede and replace any and all prior versions or adaptations.
